Slowly but Surely

The house is coming along.

We did so much over J's leave and I'm loving it more and more every day.

The built in shelves, well those I've been agonizing over.

Here's how I've arranged them so far. On the bottom is a little coffee bar:

Here is the dining room/living room.

We have all black framed photos and it has a very traditional feel.

I joke with jimmy that I get the kitchen and scrap room for my

shabby junky finds.

The rest is pretty traditional. That keeps him satisfied. Ha!

 

We inherited the table from my parents.

One day we will buy a new one, but

it serves us just fine for now.

This is a collage we are going to put on our bedroom wall:

Love it. The view never fails to make me smile.

So that's what's going on over here.

I'm also working on this:

Using lots of Fiskars, Fresh cut by Heather Bailey, and 

journaling cards from my friend Veronica. This is just for

fun and it's making me smile.
