you might have heard by now that hero arts and studio calico are teaming up to offer high quality acrylic stamp sets.
i had the pleasure on getting my hands on three of the new sets and i had SO much fun playing with them.
disclaimer: i am NOT a stamper by nature. i am just now starting to incorporate stamps into my designs. i am by NO means a pro. i admire and love seeing what jennifer mcguire , dawn mcvey, betsy veldman, and other amazing stampers do.
with that being said...i know that there are plenty fans of SC and SC stamps that are not pro stampers either.i am representing the "clean and simple stamper" club. haha!
that's why i wanted to join in this hop. to show that these wonderful stamps can appeal to a variety of scrapbookers and to all levels of stampers! it is honestly a testament to how much i love these stamps, because they made me WANT to stamp. badly. so i got to work as soon as i could get them out of the box!
♥♥♥♥
i am always wanting little note cards to stick in gifts and to include in happy mail that i like to send my friends.i never remember to buy them, so i figured it was time to make some myself.
i made this little set of simple gift cards using kraft cardstock and verafine ink in onyx.
yes, i have NO idea what i'm going to do with that boy card. HAHA!
i LOVE the book card. i plan on making plenty of them, as i am constantly lending books out to friends.
ink used: versafine onyx

so happy

once i got going i couldn't really stop. out.of.control. did i mention i love these stamps?
the "every book is an adventure" stamp from the "i love books" set is by FAR my favorite stamp. i will be using it non-stop, i can tell you that right now!
i had seen this idea on pinterest and wanted to make one for the play room, so here's what i came up with:
ink used:colorbox pigment inks- primary and cyan
stamp set used: i love books (and a pencil eraser)
♥♥♥♥
and then i took my scraps and stamped and punched hearts and made the girls little confetti pouches.
inks used: colorbox primary, versafine onyx, jenni bowlin chicken feed, jenni bowlin lemon drops, jenni bowlin chili powder
stamp set used: silhouettes
