Happy Thursday, friends!
First- let me announce the Scrapbook Circle kit winner!
I wanted to share a layout today. First, can we discuss that I am still in denial that my babies are THREE? What in the world? It’s a complete mystery to me. 🙂
I did a quick birthday layout for them last night. There is so much cute BasicGrey RSVP product in the December Gossamer Blue kits. How perfect is that?
I’ve been dying to break out my December kits and get to work. I just had to squeeze a quick page in!
Man, they make me all kinds of happy. Sigh.
I can’t get enough of these Love Clips from Freckled Fawn. I use them on everything.
The banners are made from BasicGrey washi tape stickers.
The RSVP chipboard accents are so darn cute.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy (as Sadie says).
Happy Thursday, y’all!

Happy Thursday!
So glad you stopped by today. I have a scrapbook page to share with you!
Lately scrapbook pages have become much more about being creative. About getting my hands messy and playing with product and making something tangible. My Project Life has become much more about multiple photos and memories.
You will see more single photo layouts from me because I think of pages as a creative release. Does that make sense?
I had my Gossamer Blue November Kit remains out on my desk and wanted to use them up so I grabbed some of my staples (ribbon, doilies, label stickers) and got to work.
Here’s what I came up with:
Supplies: Gossamer Blue November Kits and Addons//Freckled Fawn wide washi tape//BasicGrey chipboard accents//doilies//Chic Tags alphabet stickers//Recollections alphabet stickers//Studio Calico gold label//May Arts chevron twill ribbon
When I was working on the layout I really wanted to use this Crate Paper vellum, but I just couldn’t make it work.
I decided to turn it over and use the back side, and that made it much more subtle and usable.
I know that this pretty ribbon will get smooshed when I put it in an album, but I’m okay with that! Perfection is ovverated. 🙂
I hope you have a beautiful day!

TGIF y’all! Today I have a layout to share with you. It came together super quickly and makes me ridiculously happy!
I started by printing these two photos. I love them both dearly and they share a common theme. In Sadie’s photo she is packed and ready to go to Lake Como. In Cate’s photo she is packed and ready to go to France.
I knew I wanted to use them on a layout about traveling and our adventures.
Here’s what I came up with:
Supplies: Gossamer Blue November main kit, Gossamer Blue November Add On 2, Gossamer Blue November Bits and Pieces, Studio Calico Double Scoop project life kit (gold labels), sequins, doilies, MME tiny word stickers, BasicGrey Micro Monogram stickers, gold foliage from Michael’s, American Crafts thickers
I’m really happy with the layering and clustering I achieved on this page. I tried not to overthink it…but I did move things around a bit more than I normally do..
The gold leaves (from Christmas foliage I got at Michael’s last year) add a nice sparkly touch.
And I added some fun accents (like the vellum postage stamp under the ‘o’ in go).
I have to tell y’all that I’m rather obsessed with Heidi Swapp mixed company ephemera right now.
\I have been using these embellishments all over my Project Life and they added the perfect touch to this page.
I love that the embellishments are mixed. Some cardstock, some acrylic, and some vellum. Just right for layering.
I don’t own a die cutting machine (yeah, maybe I’m the last crafter on earth who can say that…and I’m okay with it 🙂 so I really like that I can add fun die cut embellishments with this pack.
Of course I had to throw in some doilies and sequins, too…it’s a compulsion. 🙂
That’s it for today, just a fun creative share. Hope you enjoyed and can find some inspiration from it this Friday!

First and MOST importantly…thank you so much for your compassion regarding the last post I wrote. Thank you so so very much. I am floored and humbled by the response.
And yes- you did read the title of this blog post correctly. I actually have a scrapbook layout to share today. Say WHAT?
I finally received my Canon Selphy CP900. And I can tell you that I’m 100 percent in LOVE. It’s so compact and EASY.
I printed out four photos in a few seconds, and knew I just had to make something.
And that’s when I froze. Really. How sad is that? I had great photos, fun MME products from this summer (I hadn’t had a chance to play with them yet) and a cute Freckled Fawn embellishment kit I’ve been itching to use.
I sat there staring at everything for a while and then I thought to hell with it. Why am I overthinking this? It’s not rocket science. This isn’t for a team or an assignment. It’s just for the heck of it. As it should be.
I just made something. And you know what? It felt good. It felt good to get out of my head for a little bit and just play. It felt SO good to make something again. It was interesting how profoundly (and quickly) it changed my mood!
paper– my mind’s eye, geotag clip, enamel dot, brad, flower, veneer frame, doilies, arrow clip– freckled fawn, project life card- studio calico, stickers, enamel geotag–mme, gold glitter tape-american crafts,
I pretty much just did a typical Stephanie “cluster/doily” type layout. Funny how quick it came back to me, ha!
I love the little embellishments from Freckled Fawn, they were so fun to work with and worked nicely with my MME stash.
I cut triangles from some of my gold glitter tape and scattered them around on the patterned paper, adding a little bit of sparkle.
I can’t wait to print some more photos this weekend and do some more layouts and hopefully even get back in the saddle RE: Project Life.
I guess it turns out I did miss scrapbooking? 🙂
That makes me happy. And relieved.
xoxo
